Auto insurance won’t cover your Motor Home properly. You should have a specialty Motor Home policy that provides for:
Total Loss Replacement, which replaces your RV with a new model of similar make and quality if yours is totaled
Replacement cost of personal property: new for old for the items stolen, damaged or lost from your RV
Road side assistance
Adequate bodily injury limits: make sure your bodily injury limits are high enough to protect your assets. You may want to raise your deductible to make up for the additional premium needed to increase the bodily injury limits.
