Kidde has issued a recall of 134 models of their fire extinguishers manufactured between January 1973 and August 2017. These models can become clogged or require excessive force to discharge and can fail to activate during a fire emergency.
If you have one of these fire extinguishers you should replace it. You can contact Kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher and directions on returning the recalled unit.
